They one shot mactera, including tri jaws. They destroy frozen targets, so they pair perfectly with the Cryo Cannon. Robots have a weakness to melee, so axes are great on industrial sabotage missions. They count as melee so they give you +5 HP with vampire. So many times I've tried to drop a neurotoxin to defend a spot only to see the cloud go up in flames immediately because of hot bullets or a breach cutter or any number of other heat sources.ДЄxes are amazing for so many situations. Neurotoxin can be useful but anything that has heat damage will ignite the cloud and make it disappear. Plus, barbed drills are great for shattering frozen bugs and collecting tons of HP using Vampire. You don't get hardly any drilling speed from the hardened drill tips and you waste more drill fuel to drill the same distance. The stun in T4 helps with any bugs that don't die in the explosion, as it stuns anything in a 14m radius from the blast, and you can quickly move in and freeze or flame them to bits while they are stunned.ДЄlways take barbed drills in T1. I use them to save ammo when clearing big swarms. I usually take extra ammo so I have 4 total and 2 with every resupp. 5 frozen grunts = 25 HP.Дў111 for most situations but 1122 for Industrial Sabotage and 3122 for dreads. Vampire is a must for most of my driller builds, because I typically take cryo and can refill my health meter quickly by freezing a bunch of grunts and drilling them to death.
